I've been with Max20 for almost 2 years, prior to which I'd had dealings with a number of other agencies. Max20 is what I look for in an agency. Easy to deal with and upfront with you on all aspects of a contract. No other agency has come close.

As an 'Out of work' IT Technician, I was keen to find work to help me pay the bills. I was given the contact details for Max20 by a friend who was working on a contract in the NHS.I was started on a NHS Desktop Support contract wiithin a couple of weeks, that was early in 2004. I have now found a permanent position as a Service Desk Manager for the NHS, after working continuously for over 12 months. I have been working with Max 20 off and on since early 2003. In fact it was Don who convinced me that I should move my career from 30 years of IT in the private sector and look at the NHS. So I went from Project Management to Information Management and found the transition simple, though the culture change was frightening. Since getting used to that I've continued contracting in the NHS. Sometimes with Max 20, but let's be realistic, they don't have all the jobs so I've worked with other agencies too. I even found one contract on my own following an unsuccessful NPfIT permie interview at an Acute Trust. In that case I talked to Don and Max 20 arranged the contractual side of things for me and more importantly, paid me!. I'm not with Max 20 at the moment but I always keep in touch because I'm always happy to work with them again. From my previous years of experience I can say that is not true of a large number of agencies, particularly the big ones.As an interim manager I also look to Max 20 whenever I need to recruit contractors.
