Technical Lead - Ref # 02308

Description :Skills, knowledge and experience Windows Server 2003 & 2008 infrastructure, including Terminal Services. Mobile working using tablet devices, including Android Up to date knowledge of mobile working market and innovation VPN, 3G, Wi Fi Technical IT Security – Encryption, mobile data management tools Knowledge of NHS wide Information Governance and IT Security principals Prince 2 Project Management (practitioner level desirable) Stakeholder management Knowledge of business change principals. Strong communication skills Experience of successfully managing large scale projects. Experience of managing projects in a healthcare environment (desirable) Experience of IT Infrastructure in a large organisation (NHS org desirable) Specific deliverables Source and evaluate tablet devices, using expert technical knowledge, engaging key stakeholders as part of the process. Develop a detailed proposal and implementation plan for introducing mobile tablet connectivity on an organisational wide scale. To include technical specifications and assurances, costing and support arrangements Work alongside internal application developers to evaluate and develop detailed plans for introducing secure ‘apps’ onto the new tablet devices. Work alongside the internal IT Department, to ensure integrity to the PCT network and systems is maintained at all times. Produce detailed project plans and documentation, reporting all progress and information back to key stakeholders in accordance with Prince 2 methodology and local requirements. Assist in project management for rolling out new capital IT equipment for Community Services.
