Service Desk Technician x 4 - Ref # 02594

Description :We are seeking a service desk technician to work in an extremely busy 1st / 2nd Line Helpdesk / Service Desk role, answering between 40 - 60 calls each per day and working to strict KPI, SLA's and support tasks (such as emails / managing incidents) and ensuring all incidents and requests are registered on call logging system (HP Openview) with a minimum of 70% of calls resolved by phone (remote tools are available). Applicants must have previous solid customer service experience within Helpdesk / Service Desk working in a very busy environment for at least one year, must have good communication skills, good problem diagnosis and troubleshooting skills, ability to follow policies and procedures, attention to detail, ability to prioritise a varied and busy work load and be a quick learner (bespoke systems). In addition, candidates must be familiar with MS Operating system (XP) and MS Application experience (in particular MS Outlook) and Helpdesk tools - ACD System, Call Logging System, Remote Tools (SMS) or similar and Active Directory / Exchange. The applicant must be available between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 (M-F) with the possibility of extended hours in the near future. ITIL Foundation MCP or MCDST qualifications, McAfee Safeboot experience would be desirable. Applicants must be available to start on Monday 1st October 2012.
