Service Desk Manager - Ref # 01404

Description :We require a Service Desk Manager for this busy NHS site. The Service Desk Manager will manage and develop the Service Desk function to provide 24/7 single point of contact for Service Desk requests from all provider services, . The post holder will be responsible for ensuring both the effective handling, and resolution of first line calls and the effective triaging of second line calls to internal staff and third line requests to national applications suppliers. The role necessitates high degrees of autonomy, a persuasive personal management style and the ability to build and empower the staff to provide a high quality service. The role carries responsibility to work actively within the Strategy and Corporate Services area and collaboratively with the wider community.The post holder will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of a 24/7 workforce. This may mean, on occasion, working outside the core office hours. In addition the post holder will be expected to be available as part of the on-call rota as required.
