Senior Systems & Database Developer - PERMANENT - Ref # 02267

Description :	My prestigious client requires a Senior Systems/Database Developer to become a key member of the Information Department. Your primary role will be to manage, maintain and further develop the datawarehouse supporting the analysis team. The role is a mix of technical leadership, hands-on development and database and systems administration. You will need to be technically independent as the lead technical specialist in SQL with an appreciation of current database and web technologies as you will lead their technical strategy and manage upto 2 web/workflow developers. You will also need to understand business needs and convert them into technical requirements. The key technical skills for this role are SQL 2008 including SSIS, SSAS, advanced stored procedures and systems administration, SQL 2005, T-SQL, OLAP cubes and a clear understanding and detailed working knowledge of data structures and data warehousing techniques. Any NHS experience would be advantageous.
