NHS Applications Systems Team Manager - Ref # 01929

Description :	An experienced Applications Systems Team Manager is required to be responsible for the day to day management of the Applications Systems Team. You will be expected to provide management and support for designated NHS applications. The client already has staff in place to provide second and third line support, system administration and system customisation but your job will be to effectively manage gaps in the service when staff are off on holiday, sick etc. The post holder will also be required to project manage the implementation of any new, relevant systems / modules and will be required to liaise with, and advise Trust staff from all disciplines and levels. Existing NHS experience is highly desirable and you must have a practical understanding of the IM&T requirements within the NHS plan/ National Programme for IT (NPfIT). You must also have substantial experience in a management role, experience of managing significant organisational change, substantial experience of development of Business Cases and effective management of appropriate project financial allocations. max20 is operating as an Employment Agency for this vacancy.
