Junior Information Governance Facilitator - Ref # 01400

Description :	Information Governance (IG) is a valuable part of the modernisation programme of the NHS and ensures necessary safeguards for, and appropriate use of, patient and personal information. This major NHS client is looking for a Junior Information Governance Facilitator to work with the IG Manager to provide advice and support in all areas of the IG agenda to proactively assist stakeholder organisations in making progress towards the IG Toolkit targets. You will develop and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of partner organisations and peers. This will involve participating in and supporting networks of IG practitioners and attending meetings of relevant committees and groups across the health community. Ideally you will be from a background of information governance within the NHS but we will be pleased to receive applications from non-NHS experienced staff (e.g. Local Government experience) and even individuals with a limited knowledge of information governance who can “grow” into the role. A background (or any experience) of training would also be useful for this role. This is an ideal opportunity to gain up to date experience as part of the largest modernisation programmes in Europe.
