Financial Systems Programme Controller (NHS) - Ref # 01740
Description :
This is a full time, permanent role where you will be reporting directly to the Director of Finance of this prestigious NHS client. You will be responsible for initiating, developing and delivering financial application services. You will be the lead expert in developing & delivering financial application services supporting the financial viability, stability and governance of existing NHS clients. You will actively seek new opportunities with existing and prospective NHS clients (including responding to tenders, producing bids & business cases during this critical development period). Your duties will include: Providing strategic systems advice and guidance, Systems development programme management, Planning and directing process re-engineering, Technical lead for all service delivery, Day to day systems management (incl. security and integrity), Liaison with NHS clients, systems suppliers, managers and external auditors. The preferred candidate will have a successful track record in a continuous improvement culture; instigating, embracing and managing change. The emphasis on business development and the importance of change processes will suit an experienced individual with proven expertise in strategic systems planning and business process improvement in an expanding organisation. You will be able to further build your career within the financial systems discipline of a major NHS client who will fully support your future development. You will be a finance professional, ideally CCAB qualified, possessing extensive finance experience. You will have further developed your career in systems including finance systems application planning, development, and service delivery and have extensive project management skills. You will have excellent communications skills with the ability to influence and interact with senior managers within a complex, multi - client environment.
