| Candidate Profile : | Following on from 15 year experience as a radiographer within the NHS I have 13 years experience as a project manager and business analyst within healthcare software implementation projects. I have been involved with the National Programme initiatives and was the Senior Clinical Project Manager for the Southern cluster LSP, working with senior stakeholders within NPfIT. I have an excellent knowledge of the current best practice guidelines for NHS and the information governance. I am currently involved in co-ordinating training for results access and the expansion of the use of Choose and Book to other services.I was senior manager of a team of 6 sub teams delivering a software solution that supported best practice and underpinned quality initiatives as defined by the Institute of Clinical excellence and have facilitated workgroups to agreement for service improvement. I was a positive leader who encouraged staff to adopt a positive attitude towards the project . I am experienced as a project manager which included managing training schedules, risks and issues and project completion (delivery) within given timescales. I have experience of managing change as part of software implementation and service improvement projects and am enthusiastic, creative and analytical in my approach to work. I am always keen to learn any new skills, whether that is through structured training or experience. I have the train the trainer certificate and have been involved with training programmes within the software implementation projects, identifying training needs, preparing a schedule and training materials and delivering training to groups and individuals in a clinical environment. I have an excellent knowledge of the current best practice guidelines for NHS and the information governance and am aware of the importance of data quality and audit in improving quality outcomes and for providing data that can be used for practice based commissioning. I have been involved with quality improvement throughout my career and understand the latest initiatives to improve the quality of patient care and define quality driven targets. More recently I have experience of data set modelling and information analysis for the NHS Information Centre and a Mental Health Trust and am coordinating the use of Choose and Book to improve the referral process for GP’s to Mental Health. I have used data from access and can write SQL queries and present data in an appropriate format for the intended audience.
