| Candidate Profile : | I am currently employed at Westlakes Scientific Consulting as the Senior Analyst Programmer (HealthCare Informatics Department). I am involved with the development and support of various BNFL occupational health systems using DSM MUMPS/CACHE database system on a VMS/UNIX platform. I have recently developed a Sickness Absence Reporting System using Web fronted Cache server pages (UML, HTML, Dreamweaver MX, Javascript) as a front-end, with Cache 4.1.6 Back-End post relational database. This involved the design and implementation of a large and very complex web fronted database. This system has been sold to various private hospitals/nuclear facilities and factories throughout the north of England and Scotland. Other duties also include the Project Management of the Westinghouse Springfields Occupational Health Support/Development Contract (Microsoft Project) and lead developer of three-tier control safety system (Static Air Sampler, Magnox and Thorp) on the BNFL Sellafield site. This incorporates the use of Remedy helpdesk software. The Static Air Sampler is a combined Delphi/Mumps system. My Project Management duties incorporate the negotiation of contract costs, allocation of resources and general admin, in order to sustain our ISO9001 accreditation. Recently, I have become more involved epidemiological programming.
