Candidate Profile :2nd Line Support in various permanent and contract positions in a dynamic & demanding environment. Phone/pager based, to onsite support as and when required.
Remote support of other office locations, management of third parties to resolve issues, providing support and training to client based technicians and staff. Working to strict SLAs and to exceed customer satisfaction in all areas.

Involved in various large rollout and migration projects - XP / 2003, network hardware and software infrastructure from analogue to digital. Presenting contract management and progression reports at weekly / monthly meetings. Auditing / surveying IT software and hardware before, during and afterwards of upgrades and producing audit / survey reports.

Experience of implementation, configuration, fault finding and support of desktop applications, Operating Systems (OS), Network Operating Systems (NOS), Database Management Systems (DBMS), Server, Remote Access tools and utilities. As well as in-house applications support, development, documentation and distribution of common solutions to software problems. Networking, from changing network devices, to configuring equipment (including CAT5 tracing, activating applicable ports) for specific site use, including projects concerning TCP/IP address migration and IP address allocation. PC evaluation, comms room spec, implementation and test of latest hardware, software for system and network compatibility.
