I have been working with Max 20 off and on since early 2003. In fact it was Don who convinced me that I should move my career from 30 years of IT in the private sector and look at the NHS. So I went from Project Management to Information Management and found the transition simple, though the culture change was frightening. Since getting used to that I've continued contracting in the NHS. Sometimes with Max 20, but let's be realistic, they don't have all the jobs so I've worked with other agencies too. I even found one contract on my own following an unsuccessful NPfIT permie interview at an Acute Trust. In that case I talked to Don and Max 20 arranged the contractual side of things for me and more importantly, paid me!. I'm not with Max 20 at the moment but I always keep in touch because I'm always happy to work with them again. From my previous years of experience I can say that is not true of a large number of agencies, particularly the big ones.As an interim manager I also look to Max 20 whenever I need to recruit contractors.
